Ashley Davis is a native of Prince George’s County, Maryland who is characterized as a strategic thinker, thought leader, and trusted advisor. She has more than 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry serving in various roles. She currently holds the position as Performance Improvement Manager for MedStar Health corporate services.
Prior to joining MedStar, she spent six years as a Health Strategy Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton in the civil and military government health markets. As a consultant, she provided management, communication, and research support for a variety of health programs and health awareness campaigns. In this role, Ashley led a team to develop strategy and implement the Medical Home Port Population program. A behavioral change and chronic disease program at four naval hospitals across the country.
She is a proud alumnus of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management and Master of Public Health degrees. Her passion for reaching back to the next generation of healthcare leaders is demonstrated through her position on the Florida A&M University Healthcare Management Undergraduate Advisory Board. Additionally, she dedicates her time to organizations that focus on celebrating diversity, improving health equity, and mentoring people of color to achieve greatness. She currently serves as the Washington Metropolitan Area Chapter Secretary for the National Association of Health Services Executives.
